Progressive Turnout Project Supports Ruling to Uphold Maine’s Ranked-Balloting System
Progressive Turnout Project Executive Director Alex Morgan released the following statement after U.S. District Court ruling on Maine’s ranked-balloting system:

“The District Court upheld what we already know: ranked choice voting is the law of the land in the State of Maine. We call on Republican Bruce Poliquin to drop his frivolous lawsuit and allow local election authorities to continue to count all votes. If Poliquin truly objected to this process, he would have filed this suit long before Election Day. This is nothing short of voter suppression in an attempt to cling to power.”
